If one finds that life is tougher during the recession and that extra time is available due to a layoff or shorter working hours, there still is a way to benefit.  Take the time to learn extra skills by either enrolling in a course or simply by reading in the public library for free.  Also, take the time to reconnect with important people in your life as well as yourself.  I really don't think

Karate world champion and diversity speaker Clint Cora met up with Kenpo stylist Dave Jackman in St John's, Newfoundland last night at a banquet.  They chatted about different martial arts styles and competition.  Clint was able to relate to the various kenpo styles that Dave was talking about since he has competed against as well as judged many kenpo stylists over the years.

I created a sticker that features a martial arts theme and a very important diversity message and this new sticker will be handed out to students at the upcoming COCA conference next week in St. John's.  It's part of a diversity campaign that is connected with my presentation on the topic of diversity.  This will fit in well as it's another tool I can use to spread the message as a diversity
